Vision, Mission, & Purpose: does vision match with mission so you can follow your purpose?

What do you see that is possible for your life? Is the vision clear or blurry?

I want you to get as specific as you can with this vision so that it can become clear. Once your vision for your future self is clear, then the mission for your life will slowly reveal itself. It may be right now or it may be years down the road - whatever your mission is, do not rush the journey and experience.

Purpose:

What makes you want to get up and out of bed every morning?

Purpose is your life's message. Ultimately, it’s what makes you want to get up out of bed every morning. It often guides you throughout your life to make decisions, create goals, and influence your behavior and habits. It should be connected to your work and field of study so that the work you do is meaningful to you.

gifts + passions + values = purpose

Purpose = Your Why

What is your Why? Questions to Find Purpose:

  • If you were to die, what would you want to have done?

  • If you died, how would you want to be remembered?

  • How did these questions make you feel?

  • What came up for you?

Tip to help find purpose:

  • Research or reading new things

  • Turn your hurt into healing for others - donate time, money, gifts, or talents

  • Ask what others appreciate about you – get feedback because you may not be aware of what you have to offer others

  • Find, build, or join a community that supports you – who's in your circle

  • Tell your story – sharing is caring Align goals, purpose, and passion with your core values – give time to what fulfills you

  • Clarify what is important/unimportant - spend money on what will build/grow you as a person

  • Focus on your drive and passion so that you commit to yourself

  • Define success for yourself, not built of others wishes for you

  • Explore what you love to do and what comes easy to you - think of times you experience the greatest joy

  • Create a mantra, affirmations to build a motto or life purpose statement

  • Follow your heart, gut, intuition, or inner guide Decide where you want to go – goal setting, affirmation, visualizate, vision board, or meditation

  • Be clear and specific but also be patient as things take time – remain non-attached to the outcome

Now go out into the world, experience the journey for yourself WITHOUT JUDGMENT! We are here to learn by experience, not be born into perfection.
